SafeHotels.ai is a hotel safety comparison platform combining official UK Police crime data, community reviews, and AI recommendations to help travellers find safer accommodation. We are not a hotel booking platform — we link to third-party booking sites for reservations.

3. Affiliate Disclosure

⚠️ Important: SafeHotels.ai participates in affiliate programmes. When you click a booking link and make a reservation, we may earn a commission from the booking platform. This comes at no extra cost to you and does not influence our safety ratings or hotel rankings, which are based solely on official crime data and community reviews.

4. Safety Data Disclaimer

  • Crime data is sourced from the UK Police API (data.police.uk) and reflects recorded crimes in a postcode area — not crimes at the hotel itself
  • Safety scores are calculated algorithmically and should not be the sole basis for any safety decision
  • Crime statistics lag real-time events by approximately 2–3 months
  • We make no guarantee that any area or hotel is safe — all travel carries inherent risk
  • Community reviews represent the opinions of individual contributors and are not verified by SafeHotels.ai

SafeHotels.ai accepts no liability for any harm, loss, or injury arising from reliance on information displayed on this Site.

5. User-Submitted Reviews

When you submit a safety review, you agree that:

  • Your review reflects your genuine, first-hand experience
  • You will not submit false, misleading, defamatory or malicious content
  • You grant SafeHotels.ai a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display your review on the Site
  • You will not submit reviews for commercial purposes or on behalf of hotels
  • We reserve the right to remove any review that violates these terms

6. Intellectual Property

All content on SafeHotels.ai — text, graphics, logos, safety scores, and code — is owned by or licensed to SafeHotels.ai. You may not reproduce or distribute this content without written permission. User-submitted reviews remain the intellectual property of their authors.

7. Prohibited Uses

  • Using the Site for any unlawful purpose
  • Scraping or harvesting data without permission
  • Submitting fake or incentivised reviews
  • Attempting to manipulate our safety scores
  • Interfering with the Site's operation or security
  • Using the Site to distribute spam or malware

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SafeHotels.ai shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Site or reliance on information provided herein. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed £100.
